Operation Of All Wireless Microphones In The 700 Mhz Band Is Prohibited By The Fcc After June 12, 2010 Most of the wireless microphones sold prior to the last couple of years were in the 700 MHz band. The FCC has warned for a while now that it was going to designate this frequency band for other uses and as of June 12, 2010, is prohibiting the use of it by wireless microphones. 700 MHz Microphones
